tomatoes of South of Italy: the mature and the peeled tomato
, after being washed, is worked to be skinned in order to
remove the peels, soon after it is cut and put in the sterilized cans
filling them with natural tomato juice .No preservative or
artificial flavour are added.
Carla canned chopped tomatoes are natural source of lycopene
and they have even more health benefits than fresh tomatoes
because the processing method used in canning tomatoes
causes the release of a greater amount of lycopene, the
natural antioxidant present in tomatoes.
